I should have stayed in bed

It had only been raining lightly all morning. Of course, as soon as I leave to walk to the library, the sky opens up. I get to the library, completely drenched. The only avaliable copy of the book I need is the one my prof put on hold. It's the wrong edition and there had been a lot of changes between the two editions. I tried to do a few questions of the assignment anyway, only to discover some notes I needed were at home. So I walk home and my umbrella breaks. By the time I get home, there is so much water in my shoes that I can feel it moving between my toes as if I were swimming. And it's not even 1 p.m.
I'm going back to bed. Hopefully when I get up again, this day will be better.

(Sorry for the grouchy post but there's no one here to bitch to and I'm (justifiably) cranky.)

Awww, I hear that. I walked to Astro, arrived soaked, got home soaked, changed my clothes, and then started homework. Today has been a long and work-laden day. But, I did buy a laser printer, so I'm excited about that.

I hope you weren't talking about the E&M book. Because that would plain suck. If you want to borrow mine, let me know!

I'm sorry I wasn't here to commiserate with you. I failed in my roommate duties. But, I made it back (also nearly drowned by rain) for the afternoon Star Trek marathon, and Star Trek makes everything better.. right?

Of course, Star Trek makes everything better! Who doesn't love Star Trek? =P

In response to your rhetorical question: only a crazy!

Stupid rain. Halifax has broken three umbrellas of mine already.
Actually, stupid wind. I heart precipitation.
But I'm saddened by your morning.

BUT, since when do you apologize for bitching?
And, since when do I sympathize, rather than laugh at one's misfortunes?

Maybe breaking 3 umbrellas has made you sympathetic to people getting soaked in the rain?

No, I'm far too much of a bitch for that.
Good thought though.

I'm a trendwhore, my rubber bracelet says so!
